The NCAA Womne’s Final Four makes its return to Tampa in 2025! The University of South Florida and the Tampa Bay Sports Commission will serve as co-hosts for the event at Amalie Arena, with two national semifinal contests played on April 4, while the national championship game will be played Sunday, April 6.
Tampa Bay has welcomed more fans in Women’s Final Four history than any other city, with a combined 123,039 fans attending the 2008, 2015 and 2019 Women’s Final Fours. In 2019, sellout crowds totaling 40,189 fans attended as Baylor claimed the national championship.

If you’re wondering who we hope to see in the final four next year, you better believe it’s the USF Bulls. Whichever teams do wind up vying for the championship in Tampa, our city is coming out a winner.
Back in 2018, organizers told the Associated Press the woman’s Final Four brought in an estimated $22 million to Columbus, Ohio. The Dallas Sports Commission projects that the 2023 final four resulted in $30 million in economic impact for the city.
These numbers could grow depending on which teams ultimately make it to the finals. Learn more about the event on the official Tampa Bay Final Four website.
