hundreds gather for a free outdoor pops in the park concert at sunset
Residents enjoy a pops in the park experience as the sun sets in Tampa

The Florida Orchestra brings Pops in the Park back to Julian B Lane Riverfront Park (1001 N Blvd) on May 12. The concert begins at 7:45pm, and while the event is free you can RSVP in advance online. There are tons of amazing date night options in Tampa, but this evening of pop culture bops under the stars may be the best. Be sure to bring your non-perishable goods for Tampa Bay Harvest’s annual food drive.

Residents and visitors are invited to pack a blanket and picnic for free music under the stars. This concert has been a Florida Orchestra tradition for nearly 30 years. The playlist includes iconic film scores, Broadway hits, and symphonic favorites. The entire show is set against the beautiful Hillsborough River at one of our most beloved downtown parks.
