Wish Farms, a family-owned Plant City gem, opens up for u-pick blueberries

On very select weekends, the farm opens for a u pick experience

Wish Farms in Plant City has delighted the community with strawberries and blueberries since 1922. Towards the end of the farm’s season, Wish Farms opens select blueberry fields to the public, as well as local area food banks and other community organizations, to pick fresh berries. Non-profit affiliated attendees pick for free and the general public pay a nominal fee which is donated to a sponsored charity. Be sure to check this page for future updates.

The Wish Farms blueberry field will open April 26, 27 and 28. Guests can visit from 9am-3pm and blueberries will cost $5 per pound. Remember to bring your own containers to take the berries home, Wish Farms does provide buckets for picking.

Visitors can find the farm at 1301 S. Frontage Road in Plant City. Guests at the “Semi-Truck” entrance and drive straight back through the gates and park on the lawn.
