Chance the Rapper is bringing his new tour to Tampa, and it’s not at the venue locals would have guessed. On September 5, 2026, The Coloring Book 10 Year Anniversary Tour makes a stop at the historic Ritz Ybor (1503 E 7th Ave).

Chance is the type of artist who could easily sell 20,000 tickets to a show in Benchmark International Arena. Instead, he opted for one of the city’s most iconic venues, which means little more than 1,000 of us will be able to see the intimate show. Presale begins Wednesday, May 20, with tickets officially available on Thursday, May 21. All that info can be found here, and this is one you’ll want to be refreshing by the second if you’re hoping to score a ticket.

The tour celebrates the 10-year anniversary of Coloring Book, and it appears that Chance is hoping for a more personal experience on the nationwide tour. Most of the stops along the way are also in small and often-historic venues, rather than arenas or stadiums. In fact, his Birmingham show is inside a craft brewery (though I’m happy to personally vouch for the merits of Avondale Brewing, should you ever find yourself in Birmingham).

It’s a concert that many more of us will have to settle for seeing through pictures and shaky IG video stories, rather than experiencing it for ourselves. For those lucky thousand or so who get inside The Ritz, however, it’s likely to be quite the memorable occasion.

Looking for more live music? There are still tons of great concerts coming to Tampa that you can actually get a ticket to see. Check out our list here.
