“It’s been my pleasure and honor to have built upon my grandparents’ legacy, and I am thrilled to now entrust that legacy to Blake and his team at Caspers Company,” said Jeff Mount, the grandson of the founders of Wright’s Gourmet. “Their reputation for excellence, as well as an unwavering commitment to the community, make them the ideal stewards to carry forward the standards that have defined Wright’s for generations.”

Fans of Wright’s Gourmet House can rest assured that the beloved menu will remain unchanged. For the latest updates, follow Wrights Gourmet on Facebook and its website.

“Wright’s has a special place in the hearts of so many, and we are honored Jeff chose us to help preserve and build upon his family’s rich heritage,” said Blake Casper. “Tampa has lost too many of its storied restaurants, and it is our privilege to become Wright’s custodians for years to come.”

“Wright’s has been a foundation of the community for decades and we are excited to continue serving its loyal customers with the same passion and dedication they have come to expect,” added Allison Casper Adams.

The cafe/deli has been serving the city of Tampa since 1963. Over 1,000 patrons have left reviews of their experiences here, with more than 800 of those reviews acting as a perfect 5 stars. In 2019, TripAdvisor regarded it as one of the very best restaurants in Tampa and the entire state of Florida.

What put Wright’s on the map originally was the Beef Martini Sandwich. Nearly 60 years later, it’s still a proverbial crowd-pleaser. How’s it made? With rare roast beef, mushrooms marinated in white wine, and crisp bacon slices with Wright’s own garlic and herb spread on butter crust white bread.
