Oxford Commons opens chic new rooftop bar, Casa Cami, in Tampa

The team behind the Oxford Exchange, Predalina (now in the MICHELIN Guide), and The Library will open a brand new rooftop bar at The Current Hotel on Rocky Point. Named Casa Cami, the swanky new bar is set to open on March 19.

“Get ready to experience Tampa Bay like never before with the opening of a new rooftop restaurant and bar, offering an incredible blend of Mexican-inspired cuisine and breathtaking bay views.” wrote the Oxford Commons team in a press release. “Situated on the 10th floor of The Current Hotel, this lively new concept promises to be the go-to destination for those seeking a sophisticated yet casual dining experience…Casa Cami will offer indoor and outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both worlds – from the comfort of a stylish interior to the fresh breeze and sweeping views of the bay. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner, a lively brunch, or late-night cocktails, Casa Cami has you covered.”

Casa Cami has the best views in Tampa Bay

Casa Cami will be open 7 days a week, with brunch service on the weekends. The Oxford Design Studio, RRW Architects, and Gerardi Construction will help bring the full vision to life.

Casa Cami will offer indoor and outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both worlds – from the comfort of a stylish interior to the fresh air and stunning views of the bay. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner, a lively brunch, or late-night cocktails with friends, Casa Cami has you covered.

The Current Hotel is located at 2545 N Rocky Point Drive, and the bar will be on the 10th floor. Visitors will enjoy the most stunning panoramic views in the entire Tampa Bay region. You’ll be able to see Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Pete from this space. Follow them on Instagram for updates.

Menu teasers:

  • Green Chili Chicken: salsa verde, sweet plantain hash, crispy chive
  • Pollo Al Pastor Tacos: adobo charred pineapple, pickled onion (gf)
  • Snapper Crudo: charred pomelo, pickled gooseberry, pepita crunch, ají amarillo (gf)
  • Chorizo Pizza: oaxaca, cotija, avocado, micro arugula, chipotle crema, crispy tortilla
  • Bistec: grilled picanha, mojo butter, creamy shishito pepper (gf)
  • Barbacoa Short Rib Fajita: cipollini, blistered shishito, piquillo pepper, pistachio salsa macha served with flour tortillas
  • Shrimp Fajita: roasted cipollini, blistered shishito, piquillo pepper, mezcal lime butter served with flour tortillas

Many of the items on the menu are gluten-free, and Casa Cami will also offer vegetarian fare.
