There’s a new spot for New Orleans cuisine and it’s called Whiskey & Rhythm. The restaurant just recently opened at 1704 N Howard Ave. Owner Teddy Gilmore calls it the “quintessential Tampa American-retro restaurant.” It’s open from 5pm-midnight Tuesday through Saturday.

Whiskey & Rhythm features seasonal and classic New Orleans cuisine (Nawlinz Gilmore writes) and its evolution is the American dream cuisine. It is a fusion of techniques, and ingredients from a variety of countries all under one roof.

Since its debut, the restaurant has earned nothing but perfect 5-star reviews on Google.

One visitor, Jaleesa, left a 5-star review and wrote “I got salmon bites, whiskey beef sliders and lemon pepper wings…They have live music during happy hour, I would 100% recommend for a grown and sexy vibe.”

More reviewers have shouted out the great selection of bourbons, the sea bass, fried shrimp plate, and tasty sea scallops.
