Water Street Tampa during its monthly third Sunday Market

Water Street Tampa is launching its newest nighttime events beginning February 20. The night market debuts on that day, followed by The Space Between concert series on February 28. This vibrant area is one of Tampa’s most active districts—home to a MICHELIN Star restaurant (how you doing, Lilac?), a convenient free Tampa Streetcar stop, thriving local shops, and plans for further expansion. In addition, a Valentine’s Market is happening on Friday, February 14, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Note: Water Street Tampa hosts a sprawling vendor market on the third Sunday of every month in partnership with Tampa Bay Markets. The next iteration is set for Sunday, February 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., serving as a Black History Month celebration. Expect live music by Kimi Tortuga in Raybon Plaza, pop-up soul line dancing, live art demos, and more.

Shop local during the Water Street Night Market

The Night Market invites visitors to shop local, explore art, and discover handmade gifts under the stars on February 20. Running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., over 25 vendors will line the streets showcasing their unique offerings. More than 12 artists from the TT Art Collective—a local group dedicated to supporting Tampa’s creative community—will also present their work. Guests can sip on local drinks from pop-up bars by Wine on Water and Small Giant. The event is free and open to all ages.

The celebration continues on February 28 with The Space Between, an intimate, ticketed concert series that will transform Water Street Tampa into a hub for live performances. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the series will feature national and regional talent. In honor of Black History Month, the first event highlights the rich history of jazz music with headliners BK Jackson and Bianca Fitzpatrick. Expect an eclectic mix of genres—from jazz to contemporary and country—with tickets available for purchase.
