The Tampa Theatre is one of the most remarkable movie palaces in America — and it’s been a part of Tampa for early 100 years. Each season the Theatre hosts a variety themed movie screenings that bring cult classics, family favorites, and more iconic pieces of cinema history back to the big screen. This summer theatre organizers are bringing back your nostalgic favorites. Beat the heat inside this gorgeous theatre (that’s set to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation) during the Summer Classics series.
The 32nd annual Summer Classics movie series is presented by Bank of America, a series sponsor since 2015. Tampa Theatre Film Programming is sponsored in part by the City of Tampa, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, and Publix Super Markets Charities.
