Tampa Convention Center is nominated for Best Convention Center (Regional – Southeast U.S.) in the prestigious Stella Awards for the second year in a row. The center won the gold medal, the top honor, for this category back in 2023.
“We are humbled to once again be in the running for best convention center in the Southeast region,” said David Ingram, Tampa Convention Center Executive Director. “Earning gold last year showed that we are a first-class facility, and our team members, including our valued service partners, have been motivated to continue maintaining these high standards of service.”

The public can vote for the Tampa Convention Center from April 3 until May 3 here.
Northstar Meetings Group received a record-breaking 1,000 nominations this year, making it the most competitive Stella Awards to date. The Tampa Convention Center is among seven nominees being considered for the title of Best Convention Center in the Southeast U.S.
In 2023, the venue completed a multi-million dollar renovation. The Capital Improvement project involved a remarkable 23,500-square-foot expansion that added two stories to the existing structure, providing 18 brand-new waterfront rooms. These versatile spaces are designed to accommodate a wide range of meetings and events, further enhancing the convention center’s ability to cater to conferences and conventions in the Tampa Bay region.
