The top rooftop bars in the Tampa Bay region

expanse of a rooftop bar overlooking Downtown Tampa

Winter in Florida is resplendent. The temperatures are only mildly cooler, the sunsets are still sensational (with that cotton candy cloud aesthetic), and a breezy day at the beach is still a day at the beach. The cooler temps also make it the perfect time to enjoy the rooftop bars and restaurants across the region.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the rooftop bars you need to visit in the Tampa Bay region:

The Deep End at JW Marriott Clearwater Beach

The JW Marriott Clearwater Beach (691 S Gulfview Blvd) is a stunning addition to one of the most visited vacation destinations in the Sunshine State. Gorgeous waterfront views, delicious entrees and cocktails on the rooftop, a secluded beach with lounge chairs galore, and a 5-star staff await visitors at this new gem.

The Deep End may have the best rooftop views in the region. The cocktails are fantastic, they also serve up mocktails for those who don’t drink but are in the market for a craft beverage. Deep End’s grouper is one of the best I’ve tried in Florida, and the bao tacos are extraordinary. You’ll be forgiven for getting distracted by the sunset views. They’re a marvel.

This rooftop hot spot is right next to the JW Marriott Clearwater Beach’s rooftop pool and hot tub.
