The man behind some of the most iconic film scores in cinema history is bringing those sounds to life in Tampa next spring. Hans Zimmer Live: The Next Level is coming to Tampa’s Benchmark International Arena on Sunday, March 14, 2027, as part of the composer’s newly-announced North American arena tour.

As even casual film buffs know, Zimmer is responsible for some of the most recognizable music from movies over the last 30-plus years. The Oscar and Grammy winner has received universal acclaim for his scores across a wide variety of genres, as well as almost the entirety of the Christopher Nolan catalog. He’s done the Batman Dark Knight Trilogy, DUNE, Gladiator, The Lion King, all four Pirates of the Caribbean movies, James Bond, the Kung Fu Pandas, Pearl Harbor, Inception, Rain Man, and Interstellar, just to name a dozen.

And in March, his immersive and larger-than-life show brings it all to life with a 19-piece orchestra and stunning, mega-sized visuals. There are two presale windows ahead of tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, September 25. Dates are listed below with all ticket details available here.

  • Wednesday, September 23: American Express presale
  • Thursday, September 24: Artist, venue, and Ticketmaster presale
  • Friday, September 25: General public sales begin

The Zimmer shows, much like the movies from which the songs are picked, is a full production in its own right. Massive screens take audiences inside the films and their iconic scenes, while a full light show sets the mood alongside the iconic scores. Topped off by Zimmer conducting the 19-piece orchestra, it’s about as intense as a show primarily featuring brass, wind and string instruments can get.
