What. A. Week. After finishing the regular season as the 2026 American League Eastern Division Champions, the Tampa Bay Rays swept the New York Yankees in the American League Division Series, ensuring this magical run continues for at least one more round.

The Rays will maintain their home field advantage in the American League Championship Series, playing Games 1 and 2 and, if necessary, Games 6 and 7 at Tropicana Field in St. Pete. The winner of the best-of-seven series (Tampa Bay’s opponent is TBD as of publish time) will advance to the World Series. Tickets to both rounds are available now.

The possible attendance for these games isn’t far off from double that of most regular season games at The Trop, thanks to the club opening the upper deck for the postseason. But don’t think that will make tickets easier to come by. Next week’s games in St. Pete will be among the toughest tickets in more than a decade.

For now, by far the best and safest way to get tickets is directly through the team. Individual game tickets start at $150, while there are also suites and party areas available. And don’t fret if you go for an upper deck ticket; you may just end up sitting next to Brett Phillips.

Game 1 and Game 2 ALCS tickets are, of course, guaranteed. All others are provisional. If the games are played, you have tickets. If they are not, you are refunded in full. Easy enough.

Tickets are also available on the secondary market, and the Rays may well sell out entirely, making secondary sites the only way to find a ticket at a certain point. As always, use caution.

The Rays will play the winner of the lower-ranked AL Division Series between the Cleveland Guardians and Chicago White Sox, which the White Sox lead 2-1. Here’s the full home schedule for the Rays in the playoffs, with games broadcast on TBS and HBO Max.

A banner year for the Tampa Bay Rays

2026 has been a banner year for the Rays in a number of ways. It is most notable, of course, for the franchise’s return to The Trop after hurricanes damaged the stadium in 2024 and forced the team to move to Tampa for a year. It was a milestone moment for the city, region and community.

Tampa is also another reason the calendar year has been so notable, as this summer saw the Rays officially move forward with their new Forever Home in Tampa, a massive mixed-use district and stadium they hope to move into in 2029.

It was also at the very, very beginning of this year’s offseason, back in the fall of 2025, that the Rays sold to new ownership. Under the new leadership and in their return to St. Pete, the Rays have led the entire MLB in attendance increase in 2026 (regularly opening up the upper deck for huge crowds) while dominating the American League on their way to a first postseason appearance since 2023.

2026 will go down as a marquee year for the Tampa Bay Rays, and thanks to their impressive run, it isn’t over yet. Ticket information for the 2026 MLB Playoffs is available here.
