Park & Rec, a St. Pete-based bar, arcade, cocktail lounge and adult playground is set to take over the former AJA location at 290 South Meridian Avenue.
Mega-sized beer pong, over the top mixed drinks, fun music and more are pinnacles of the Park & Rec vibe. Owner Steve Schrutt is known for The Avenue, a praised burger joint in downtown St. Pete, the highly popular and super grammable Florida-themed bar, No Vacancy, and his concessions at Tropicana Field, which includes Kings Street Food Counter.

Adult playground from St. Pete has big plans for Tampa
The concept will feature four bars in the two-story space, according to a report from ABC Action News.
Will there be DJs? Yes. Will there be lawn games that put your college tailgate to shame? Probably. We’re there for the retro arcade games and local beers. An official opening date hasn’t been announced yet, but the owners are targeting early June. Follow Park & Rec on Facebook for updates.
