Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival

Fans of beer and brunch rejoice, a Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival is coming to town Saturday, March 24th from 11am-4pm. Taking place at Cotanchobee Park, a beautiful waterfront park located along Garrison Channel in downtown Tampa, the festival will feature a bounty of brunch dishes, over 60 craft beers and cocktails to sample, live music, games, and tons of fun.The Beer and Brunch Festival brings an exclusive offer to readers of I Love the Burg a with a very limited selection of tickets discounted at $28 (normally $40 at the door). The Tampa Beer and Brunch Festival’s Drink Sampling Admission tickets include all of the excitement mentioned above, plus access to unlimited cocktail and beer samplings starting at noon. Friday, March 16 

GASP! at Tampa Museum of Art
Presented by Tampa International Airport, Creative Loafing will sponsor the 5th annual GASP! outdoor performing arts event with a mix of theatre, circus arts, dance, music, spoken word, visual arts, soundscapes, cabaret and more! The event is recommended for 18+ and will be held rain or shine. Advance tickets are $25 or $30 at the door and the event runs from 7-10pm at the Tampa Museum of Art – 120 W Gasparilla Plaza

Paddyfest Street Festival (Friday and Saturday)
Celebrate the Saint Patrick’s Day holiday at the Paddyfest Street Festival in Hyde Park Village from 11pm on Friday to 12am on Saturday. Friday event tickets cost $15 while Saturday event tickets cost $20. Weekend festivities include music performances from national headliners, car-bomb wing eating challenge, K9 in kilts costume challenge, flip cup tournament, 5k, Irish dancing and more! Mayor’s River O’Green Fest
Bring the entire family – including the dogs – out to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park by 11am to watch the Hillsborough River turn green in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. This free family-friendly celebration also includes live entertainment, games, kids’ activities, food trucks and beer! Additional festivities include a 9am River O’Green Gallup 2-mile walk/run, as well as a family-friendly scavenger hunt, Leprechaun costume contest and a Shamrock Scavenger Crawl for adults; some events listed may include a participation fee. St. Patrick’s Day Bottomless Brunch Crawl
Join the Downtown Crawlers from 10am-noon at District Tavern and start your St. Patrick’s Day celebration with an Irish themed all-you-can-eat brunch paired with bottomless bloody mary’s and mimosas. Hop on the Crawler Party Buses to stop at other participating bars until 3pm where you will join the celebratory festivities of the Mayor’s River O’Green Fest at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. Paddy Hard: St. Patrick’s Day Block Party
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the 2nd annual Paddy Hard block party and festive extravaganza at the Franklin Manor and Franklin St. between Tyler and Cass. The block party spans 12 hours from 1pm-1am while Franklin Manor will keep the celebration going until 3am. Musical entertainment includes Mighty Mongo, DJ Flaco and a duel between DJ Casper and DJ KU. There will be 4 main bars and 1 VIP bar. Gate admission costs $10 and includes one drink on the block. Rough Riders St. Patrick’s Night Parade
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the Tampa Rough Riders as they are joined with other community organizations for an evening parade full of green beads, a variety of floats and more! Parade begins at 8pm in Ybor City. You can avoid congestion by taking the trolley to the parade. Event is free. E. Seventh Ave.

Sunday, March 18

Brunch and Pool Hangout
Cure your St. Patrick’s Day hangover with an all-you-can-eat brunch with bottomless bloody mary’s and mimosas at District Tavern from noon-2pm. Once you’ve filled up on food, hop on the party bus that will take you to the second bar stop at Franklin Manor and the final stop where you can spend the rest of the day lounging at the pool at WXYZ Lounge at the Aloft Hotel.
