New Dawn Open House
New Dawn is now a program of SPCA Tampa Bay, which shares New Dawn’s vision and philosophy om its positive and rewards-based training classes. Come tour the 4,000-square-foot training facility, meet the trainers and enjoy a wine tasting and refreshments over a Q&A with the experts. There will also be a complimentary wine tasting. At 7pm, there will be a presentation on reading a dog’s body language. Please leave your pets at home. 6-8pm. Free.

Mary Mirabal – My World in Color Opening Reception
A return to the historic Rialto Theatre for award winning Tampa artist Mary Mirabal. Mary’s new exhibit features exuberant, contemporary abstract expressionist works inspired by the colors and emotions of the high desert of New Mexico. 6-9pm.

2018 Architectural Photography Contest Reception
TBFAD Architectural Photography Competition entries are on exhibit now at the FMoPA Community Gallery! Amateurs and professionals were invited to exhibit their best work for the month of September as part of the competition. Winners will be revealed during Fourth Friday festivities on September 28th. Reception starts at 5:30, food and drinks will be served.

Fall Festival
Hyde Park Village invites the community to take part in Fall Festival benefiting High Risk Hope. Fall Festival is a street-wide, free, family-friendly event to celebrate the arrival of fall! Guests can enjoy craft beer and food trucks, live entertainment, games and much more. Enjoy performances by Opera Tampa Singers. 5-9pm.

Brews for Burns
Tampa Firefighter’s Charity Fund are putting together a fundraiser. There will be raffles, including a Big Green Egg, a two night stay at the Don Cesar and a hockey stick from the Lightning’s Alex Killorn, just to name a few, plus food, drink specials and live music. 7-10pm.

Flynn’s Grand Opening

The Piano Wo/Man Concert
The Tampa Bay Symphonic Winds first concert of their fifth season is entitled “Piano Wo/Man”. This will be ​a concert focusing on the piano as not only a musical instrument for pianist but also as a tool used for musical composition by both ​men and women composers​. The program will include a wide range of style to musically​ depict the ever-expansive flexibility ​of the piano. 7:30pm.

Bucs, Beers and Bubbly
Come join “celebrity dancer and bartender” Sara Evans for bubbly, beer, and tailgate extravaganza at Don Me Now. The Bucs v. Bears will be playing and ten percent of sales will go to Hands Across Tampa Bay. 12;30-3pm.
