These are the 17 best restaurants in Tampa, according to Yelp

There are so many great restaurants in Tampa. I am in no way the authority on what would be deemed “the best of the best.” I have spots that I personally adore, and I’ll always let y’all know what restaurants have me buzzing. The team over at Yelp just released its own list of the Top Places to Eat in Tampa Bay. This list covers Tampa, Riverview, Sarasota, Lutz, St. Pete, the beaches, and the entire region. In total, 17 Tampa restaurants made the cut. Overall, Riverview’s Box of Cubans came in as the place to eat in the region in 2023.

“To determine Yelp’s Top Places to Eat in Tampa Bay in 2023, we identified businesses in the restaurants category, then ranked those spots using a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews between Summer 2022 and Summer 2023,” writes the Yelp team. “This list looked at businesses in and around the Tampa Bay area. All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of August 1, 2023.”

We know you may not agree with the spots listed, or where exactly they ranked on the list, and that’s totally okay.
