Raymond James Stadium is readying for the Bucs new season. But even when our beloved NFL squad isn’t on the field, this stadium is winning. Pollstar Magazine released its midyear rankings of stadiums worldwide for concert gross sales and tickets sold. On the heels of being a Stadium of the Year nominee for the 2024 Pollstar Awards, Raymond James Stadium is ranked #8 of 50 stadiums worldwide for gross sales of $23,856,249- the highest-ranked stadium in the United States through the first half of 2024. Raymond James Stadium is ranked #18 of 50 stadiums worldwide for total tickets sold of 115,069, according to a press release from Tampa Sports Authority.
These results were achieved by the venue hosting a Billy Joel/Sting concert on February 24 and a Kenny Chesney/Zac Brown Band concert on April 20. Both of these shows were sellouts.

Huge concerts set for Raymond James Staidum in 2024
The remainder of 2024 looks just as impressive with two Morgan Wallen/Jelly Roll concerts in July and a Zach Bryan concert in August. This comes after a record-setting year for the venue in 2023 with eight sold-out concerts- Taylor Swift (3), Ed Sheeran (1), Luke Combs (2), George Strait (1) and Beyonce (1). That Taylor Swift trilogy proved to have a huge economic impact on Tampa.
Raymond James Stadium continues to be a major economic driver for the Tampa Bay community regarding hotel room nights and incremental visitor spending.
Don’t forget, West Ham United announced that the men’s first team will visit Florida for the first time for a two-match Sunshine State Tour this summer. The team will have a match against the Crytal Palace Eagles at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday, August 3 at 7pm.
