New WELL Core office building adds 12,000-square-feet of retail space in Water Street Tampa

Tampa-based real estate development firm Strategic Property Partners, LLC (SPP) has announced the opening of Thousand & One, Tampa’s first anticipated WELL Core and Shell-certified office building and first trophy office tower in nearly 30 years. As part of the innovative Water Street Tampa district transforming downtown Tampa into a walkable mixed-use neighborhood, Thousand & One employs a wellness-oriented, indoor-outdoor office environment meant to promote well-being and increase productivity among tenants.

True to COOKFOX’s signature biophilic design philosophy, the building has been designed to connect people to nature and blend indoor and outdoor spaces, an approach shown to reduce stress, enhance creativity and improve overall well-being.

Thousand & One features everything office workers are seeking today: floor-to-ceiling windows with water-facing views, flexible floorplans and lushly landscaped terraces offering access to the outdoors. Thousand & One anticipates receiving WELL Core and Shell certification by the International WELL Building Institute, which designated Water Street Tampa as the first pre-certified WELL neighborhood in the world.
