Lumineers fans, rejoice! The band’s recently announced tour will arrive in downtown Tampa at Amalie Arena. The popular venue near Water Street shared a graphic promoting the Automatic Tour, and the band will perform live in Tampa on October 8. Tickets go on sale Friday, February 22 at 10 a.m.

The Lumineers just announced their fifth studio album, “Automatic”, which will be released on Valentine’s Day. This follows their 2022 album “Brightside”. According to a press release, the 11-track album was recorded in under a month and was inspired by Peter Jackson’s “Get Back” documentary on The Beatles.

Co-founders Jeremiah Fraites and Wesley Schultz recorded the album using two drum kits, three pianos, and a range of guitars and microphones to capture as much as possible with minimal delays.

A giant passion project for The Lumineers

The band released the track “Same Old Song” back in January with a music video directed by Anaïs LaRocca.

“Some projects feel like a blur, but this one—this one is stuck in my head!” wrote LaRocca on Instagram.

Schultz reflects on the album: “It marks 20 years of songwriting between Jeremiah and me. It explores the absurdities of modern life, from the blurred line between what’s real and what’s not to how we numb ourselves in the face of boredom and overstimulation.”

We’ll update this story when the official concert date and ticket information are announced.
