Fly Bar begins hiring for new downtown Tampa location

Rendering of a new downtown bar with outdoor seating

One of our most anticipated openings of 2020 is Fly Bar. The former Franklin Street hotspot is set to reemerge near Oxford Exchange in Tampa. While the pandemic may have pushed the opening back a bit, it looks like Fly Bar is readying to serve the city.

First we shop for books, then we grab some rabbit tacos (assuming they’re still on the Fly Bar menu).

Fly Bar made a hiring announcement on Facebook.

“We are nothing without a team of talented individuals — individuals that are passionate, creative, authentic, and thoughtful.

Email your resume to our General Manager, Brittany Rosen at brittanynrosen@gmail.com. Please no walk-ins.”

Located at 442 West Kennedy Boulevard, the new Fly Bar will of course continue to deliver the same energy and flavorful offerings it did on Franklin Street. We’re currently dreaming about the fried goat cheese balls and delicious house sangria.

Fly Bar’s new spot features ample outdoor seating so diners can enjoy some Florida sunshine while they sip.

A true original in Tampa’s now flourishing nightlife scene, diners continue to rave about the small plates, such as the frites and mussels with hopped aioli, and the rabbit tacos.

An official opening date is still TBA. Follow Fly Bar on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
