Cinnamon roll season is year-round in our books, but in Water Street Tampa, it’s here for one month only. Flour Hustler, a scratch bakery that has gained a cult following at Tampa Bay Area markets, is hosting a pop-up at Sparkman Wharf for the entire month of May. And yes, the fresh-baked sourdough cinnamon rolls will have a starring role.

The month-long residency will take place at Spark Square (615 Channelside Drive), a space specifically designed to host pop-ups. Flour Hustler will be serving up the good stuff May 1-31, open from 2-8 pm Tuesday-Friday, and from 12-8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The popular bakery makes everything fresh, from scratch, with high-quality ingredients. The full menu of rotating offerings reads like a nostalgic hit list from our childhood, as their creations run far beyond just the popular cinnamon rolls. As Flour Hustler describes it: “the kind of desserts that feel like home, but just a little more elevated.”

“Everything I make is baked completely from scratch and inspired by the flavors you grew up loving,” the baker and owner says: “cinnamon rolls, brownies, banana bread, oatmeal cream pies, and big, indulgent cookies. The goal is always the same: familiar, comforting, and deeply satisfying, without feeling boring or overdone.”

Flour Hustler is a star of the market season, seen all over at favorites like Market Elaine, Mezzo Market, Indie Flea, Hyde Park Market and more. Having them in one place, at extended hours, for six days a week and for an entire month is a blessing on par with their cookie butter s’mores cookies.
