Temple Terrace just got a whole lot more interesting. Sufrat Ramallah, which translates to “the table of Ramallah,” is Tampa’s newest Palestinian café, and it’s already doing something that most new restaurants can’t claim: it’s connected to something deeply real.
The café is the latest addition to Ramallah Market, the beloved Middle Eastern grocery and bakery that’s been anchoring N 56th Street in Temple Terrace for years, serving up knafeh, baklava, and fresh produce to a fiercely loyal customer base. If you haven’t made Ramallah Market a regular stop yet, you’re already behind. Consider this your formal invitation to catch up.

Sufrat Ramallah is built on a foundation of authenticity that’s hard to come by in the Tampa Bay restaurant scene. It’s serving a full traditional Palestinian breakfast spread, with ingredients that are actually imported from Palestine. That means the flavors on your plate are straight from the source, as close as you’ll get to sitting down at an actual table in Ramallah without booking a flight. And a big thank you to @tampaiman for putting us onto this new gem.

The menu features homemade halal dishes, and if you’re the kind of person who needs a latte to function before noon (no judgment, most of us are), Barakah Beans has you covered. The Orlando-based, women-owned mobile coffee outfit is bringing their specialty lattes to the experience, including fan favorites like the pistachio latte and the Dubai chocolate latte. “Barakah” means blessing in Arabic, and honestly, that feels like exactly the right word for this whole collaboration.
Here’s the full picture: a family-run Palestinian market is expanding into a café experience, serving food made from imported Palestinian ingredients, paired with coffee from a women-owned Arabic coffee brand. That’s a cultural statement served on a plate, and Temple Terrace is better for having it.
Sufrat Ramallah is located at Ramallah Market, 12202 N 56th St, Temple Terrace. Follow @ramallamarket on Instagram for the latest updates.
