Tampa International Airport (TPA) is overall one of the best airports in America (just ask JD Power). The amount of nonstop flights to the top domestic and international destinations makes it a traveler’s paradise. One airline, Edelweiss, has seen major demand for its nonstop service to Zurich. TPA officials have said Edelweiss plans to double its service to the beauitul city in May 2024.

This means the well regarded airline will soon offer 4 flights weekly from TPA. Currently, the flights are only offered on Fridays and Sundays, but will be expanded to include Mondays and Wednesdays. Tickets are available online.

Edelweiss Air will use an Airbus A330-300 with 332 seats onboard, configured with 36 business class seats and 296 economy seats, according to TPA. This represents tens of millions of dollars annually in economic impact to the region.

The city of Zurich is located at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. When you visit, make sure to walk the scenic promenade along the east shore of Lake Zurich in the Seefeld quarter. The Lindenhof is another must visit spot. The space is shaded by lime trees and offers a perfect view of Zürich’s oldest quarters on the right bank.

Guests can enjoy a Limmat Cruise, or take a train ride up to Uetliberg. There’s no shortage of breathtaking views to find here. Those looking to tap into the area’s artsy side should travel to Zurich-West.
