Chuck Lager – America’s Tavern is now open at Westshore Marina District (5224 Bridge St) in Tampa. The restaurant, led by celebrity Chef Fabio Viviani, brings a fun dining experience to South Tampa. Viviani, who was on three seasons of the television competition show Top Chef and won the title of “Fan Favorite,” is bringing casual dining New American cuisine to Westshore Marina District.
The 4,000-square-foot restaurant is situated in the District’s Marina Landings Town Center – and it’s the second Chuck Lager restaurant in Tampa.

Chuck Lagers bring tavern cuisine to Westshore Marina District
When Fabio was a child, he would learn the recipes of his family at the side of his beloved grandmother. She taught him the skills to make delicious pastas and the patience required to create the best sauces. These lessons serve as the basis of Fabio’s menus – fresh, rustic ingredients combined with passion and talent to produce exceptional dishes.
Menu staples include Fabio’s celebrated meatball sub, the double patty Mt. Kilimanjaro burger, the Cajun grouper sandwich, the smoked pulled chicken tacos, and shrimp and crab Mac are all staples of Chuck Lagers. We highly recommend you save room for the cast iron cookies and cream with vanilla bean ice cream.
The first Tampa Bay Chuck Lager America’s Tavern opened at The Shops at Wiregrass, 2001 Piazza Ave., in Wesley Chapel.
