Most exciting is the promised launch of the new Tigris Coaster. USA Today even listed it amongst the most anticipated coaster debuts in 2019. Once completed, it will be Florida’s tallest launch coaster.

Tigris will catapult riders through an exhilarating array of looping twists with forward and backward motion, breath-taking drops, a 150-foot skyward surge, and an inverted heartline roll, all at more than 60 miles per hour, according to Busch Garden’s website.

The ride will cruise along an 1,800-foot steel track. We’re definitely ready to try this ride with out eyes closed and our hands firmly holding the harnesses.

Gift shop sales to benefit conservation fund

At least the line will be educational. The lead up to the ride will include educational content about the plight of tigers in the wild and what conservationists – including the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund – are doing to help save them.

Additionally, 5% of the sales price of items bought at the Tigris Gift Shop will be donated to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund to protect tigers and their habitat.

Concerts, food festivals and more in 2019

52 weeks of programming is a lot to come up with, especially when the stakes are raised for your 60th birthday. Busch Gardens is stepping up its game with celebrity appearances, live concerts, food and wine festivals and some of your favorite television characters.
