A waterfront pumpkin patch is coming to Tampa

It’s spooky season in the city of Tampa, but not every event is all about scares. The 3rd Annual Heights Fall Festival is scheduled for October 10 and 11. It’s one of the premiere events of the season, but it will look a bit different in 2020.

This two-day, outdoor, family-friendly event will be held on the Armature Works Pier and South Lawn. Heights Fall Festival will take place from 10am – 5pm both days and will feature a food drive benefiting Metropolitan Ministries, a pumpkin patch, live music, an 81Bay Brewery craft beer corner, and more.

The event will look slightly different this year to adhere to social distancing. Unlike years past, there will be no high touch-point activities, kids crafts will be take-home, all staff and vendors will have masks on, and the event will be more spread out. We are thrilled to still offer this annual tradition and to help those less fortunate in the Tampa Bay community. The Metropolitan Ministries food assistance program fed over 35,000 families last year, and this year they need our help more than ever.

Attendees can come by and purchase a pumpkin, pose for photo-ops, listen to live music, get a snow cone and kettle corn for the kids, and grab an Oktoberfest brew from our craft beer corner on the pier. Attendees who donate 5 or more non-perishable food items to the food drive will receive a voucher for a complimentary 81Bay beer, or a take-home Fall craft kit for kids from the Tampa Metro YMCA.
