Big Shakes Hot Chicken is bringing its fiery recipes right here to the West Kennedy Boulevard in the city of Tampa. Prolific artist Derek Donnelly recently shared a photo of a music-inspired mural he painted on the side of the future restaurant at 800 W Kennedy Boulevard.
The mural features portraits of Kurt Cobain, Biggie Smalls, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and Prince.

You can find Big Shakes Nashville hot chicken at multiple locations in Franklin, TN, Goodletsville, TN and Huntsville, AL. This will be its first taste of Florida. Here’s some background on the celebrated concept:
After Shawn “Chef Big Shake” Davis created Big Shake’s Nashville Hot Chicken, it quickly became recognized for delivering a tasty mix of great food, great service, and great personality. With it’s flagship Franklin, Tennessee location opening in 2014, Big Shake’s soon developed a following of fans whose taste for hot chicken bordered on the obsessive.
Under pressure by those that craved the chicken, Big Shake’s soon opened a second location in Huntsville, Alabama. However, they soon discovered that the two sites just weren’t enough. The goal of the Big Shake’s team is to grow and expand across the south, into the west and from coast to coast.
