Hampton’s cherished Wicked Sweet Sugar Boutique, a top-rated bakery since 2013, is now open in Historic Ybor City. After enchanting taste buds in New Hampshire, owner Danielle, along with her fiance and furry companions, embarked on a move to the Sunshine State. The couple first arrived in the area in November 2022, and began whipping up desserts in their new home. Now, those top-rated treats have an official brick-and-mortar home at 2209 E 7th Avenue.
Available desserts have included boozy (and non-boozy) Key Lime and Strawberry cupcakes, red velvet cake pops and macarons, boozy snickerdoodle rumchata cupcakes, chocolate chip blondies, and decorated cookies that are almost too pretty to eat.

We’re currently salivating over the fresh whoopie pies they’re teasing on Instagram. An official ribbon cutting was held on January 11 to celebrate the arrival of the new dessert destination. Wicked Sweet soft opened back in December 2023 — and started strong with artfully arranged holiday platters, winter-themed energy drinks, and of course cake/pie orders.
“We make everything fresh-from-scratch, all day, every day, using the finest and freshest ingredients,” write the owners on the bakery’s website. “Come by to taste some of our favorite and most delicious bakery fresh foods…We can bake just about anything, so contact us today for your special orders.”
