Tampa Bay is about to be under a snow warning. Sort of. Florida’s only real snow park, Snowcat Ridge, announced that its 2026-27 season will officially kick off on Saturday, November 14, bringing nearly four months of snow-filled fun to the area.
The massive attraction is one of the region’s most popular activities every winter, with the winter wonderland bringing a slice of the Alpine experience to the Gulf Coast. Snowcat Ridge is located at 27839 Saint Joe Road in Dade City, and tickets are on sale now. The season runs through early March.

The highlights of Snowcat Ridge are Snowy Slopes, the park’s iconic 60-foot-tall, 400-foot-long snow tubing hill, and the 16,000 square-foot Crystal Ribbon, which features a 600-foot-long ice-skating track.
There is also a winter village with a market and food trucks, appearances by the Clauses through December 24, fire pits to warm up around, and even rentable igloos for parties and groups.

Arctic Igloo: The Arctic Igloo features an indoor snow play area, ideal for building snowmen or practicing your aim in the snowball target zone. It also includes a Bunny Slope designed especially for kids under 42” tall, ensuring little ones can safely enjoy the snow.

Eskimo Outpost: Adjacent to Snowy Slopes, the Eskimo Outpost offers three private igloos for groups of up to 25 guests. These cozy spaces provide the perfect spot to warm up and enjoy your day.
Alpine Village: The Alpine Village is a food lover’s dream, with a variety of food trucks and concessions serving delicious bites and beverages. Guests can also gather around a campfire to roast s’mores while enjoying the nightly Snowy Slopes music and light show.
