A new Publix GreenWise Market is now open on the ground-floor of 815 Water Street, right next to Heron. The massive store also features the brand new POURS Cafe, which serves up locally roasted Kahwa Coffee.
So, what’s the difference between GreenWise and a regular Publix? The grocery giant describes it as an organic specialty market. The store is all about promoting healthy eating and habits, though we sometimes can’t help but overindulge in the bulk section.

GreenWise also puts an emphasis on healthy prepared meals, which works perfect for us. Perks of a dinner out, but, you know, we can totally just stay in our AC’d apartment.
The market offers up a sushi station, fresh fired pizzas, a build your own bowl station, a massive salad bar, a full deli, and tons of meals to grab-and-go with.
The CEO of Strategic Property Partners, LLC (“SPP”), the Tampa-based development firm, said, “We are excited to bring a critical grocery anchor to downtown Tampa, which will be walkable for residents of Water Street Tampa and our neighboring communities.
