Iconic Tampa eatery, The Bricks, is back open

The Bricks in Ybor City has officially reopened after closing its doors in 2020.

The Bricks began July 2010 in historic Ybor city. The eclectic venue was inspired by it’s predecessor Skatepark of Tampa, which was established in 1993. The concept closed its doors toward the end of 2020, but is now ready to welcome back residents. Here’s what the owners wrote in a Facebook post announcing the opening:

Ice Breaker post. 1st post since last year and first day that we are open officially right now Friday, April 16, 2021……….We we are grateful for being open again, your patience over the last 4 months, your understanding through Uncertain COVID landscape, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Come see us. ❤️ The Bricks 🙏👍❤️🎸🍻

The Bricks serves creative recipes, locally roasted coffee, classic cocktails and a lot of everything for all to enjoy.

“It’s delivered with a bit of edginess, class, love, but most of all, an experience you won’t find anywhere else,” write the owners.

Its popular dishes include the vegan tacos with portobello mushrooms, tuna nachos, mojo pork served in a toasted pineapple bun, double coffee chocolate cake, and so much more. Ample coffee drinks, cocktails, and more are on the menu.

Visit The Bricks at 1327 E 7th Avenue.

Follow The Bricks on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

The restaurant will be open from 4pm-midnight Wednesday and Thursday, 4pm-1am Friday, noon-1am Saturday, noon-9pm Sunday.
