Tampa is the best family-friendly cruise destination in 2024, according to a new study

A new study has revealed Tampa is officially the best cruise destination of 2024, also topping the list as the most family-friendly destination. 

The findings revealed:

• Tampa ranks as the overall best cruise destination with an index score of 74/100
• Tampa is the second most suitable destination for seniors
• Cozumel came out in second place followed by Barcelona

The study analyzed Trip Advisor reviews to find the best holiday locations based on food and budget as well as their suitability for seniors, couples, and families, to give each destination an overall cruise index score. 

The findings collated by holiday travel insurance specialists, Avanti Travel Insurance, revealed that Tampa ranked as the top destination, with an overall cruise index score of 74 (out of 100). Tampa also came out on top as the most family-friendly destination and second for its suitability for seniors.
