Tampa Bay Lightning Watch Parties and Pep Rally announced for NHL Playoffs

The Bolts are back in the playoffs, and look to win another Stanley Cup Final. Amalie Arena’s excelsior fan experience means that even the most lukewarm hockey appreciators will find themselves captivated by everything happening on and off the ice. Now the city of Tampa is ready to celebrate our favorite hockey squad with myriad pop up events and watch parties set for the playoffs.

Hyde Park Playoff Pop Up – April 15

📍1646 W Snow Ave – The Hyde Park Playoff Pop-Up will take place at Public Studio in Hyde Park on Saturday, April 15, from 5pm-7pm. Fans will be the first to score an official 2023 playoff t-shirt at the pop-up Tampa Bay Sports retail store. The event also features a custom 2023 Playoff photo booth and a free scoop of ice cream at OddFellows Ice Cream Co. for the first 200 fans.

Playoff Pep Rally – April 16

📍615 Channelside Dr – Fans can join the Lightning Playoff Pep Rally presented by AdventHealth on Sunday, April 16, from 12pm-3pm at Sparkman Wharf. The event features Lightning activities, a special, live broadcast of the Block Party with Greg Wolf and Braydon Coburn, appearances by ThunderBug, food and beverages, official Lightning Playoff yard signs and other playoff swag.

Catch Lightning Playoff Watch Parties

📍615 Channelside Dr – The team will be hosting official Lightning Watch Parties at Sparkman Wharf during each of their first two away playoff games. Fans can enjoy live entertainment, appearances from ThunderBug and other Lightning personalities, giveaways, concession specials and more.

Plaza Parties outside Amalie Arena

📍401 Channelside Dr – Fans without tickets to playoff home games can still participate in the Lightning Plaza Parties outside of Amalie Arena on Ford Thunder Alley. For $5, fans can enjoy live music, giveaways and more. The plaza will open for ticketed guests three hours before puck drop. Fans with tickets to the Thunder Alley viewing party and the arena can access the plaza via the west sidewalk in between the JW Marriott and the Pam Iorio Garage, the west sidewalk at the intersection of Morgan/Channelside or the entryway to the plaza at the NW corner of AMALIE Arena. Tickets will be made available for purchase once the round 1 schedule is released online.
