Back for its ninth season, SCREAM-A-GEDDON — Tampa Bay’s top horror park — will haunt the public with a new attraction starting Friday, September 8. “Breach,” a haunt crawling with mutated species, will be introduced this fall as an unnerving, interactive experience in which those who dare to enter may be whisked away by re-engineered life forms hiding behind every corner. The park is located at 27839 Saint Joe Rd in Dade City.

Step into the chilling world of “Breach” at OmniLabs Corporation, a cutting-edge research facility delving into the realms of plants, insects, and animals. Seeking to revolutionize agricultural productivity, these organisms underwent a radical transformation, becoming “super” species. However, when human DNA entered the equation and safety measures were overlooked, a nightmarish cross-species contamination ensued, birthing perilous mutations. Now, these eerie creatures lurk within the walls of OmniLabs, anticipating the arrival of their next unsuspecting visitor. Brace yourself for an unforgettable encounter.

SCREAM-A-GEDDON is the ultimate Spooky Season spot

“We are bringing a brand-new thrill to Central Florida with “Breach.” This new house will have every visitor on edge with the atmosphere and aesthetics inside “OmniLabs.” As with our other interactive attraction, those who opt for the interactive experience will become a character in the story,” said Jon Pianki, Chief Marketing Officer at SCREAM-A-GEDDON. “The masterminds behind this attraction have outdone themselves in bringing the eerily twisted story of “Breach” to life.”

The park features six bone-chilling attractions showcasing pyrotechnic special effects and uncommonly sinister elements spread over 60 acres of Old Florida forest, two of which offer interactive experiences for victims who dare to be targets for more fearsome encounters. Guests who choose to engage in interactive experiences may be removed from their group and succumb to more intense frights. These patrons must be 18 years or older.

To get the night started or take a break and bask in the afterglow of adrenaline-fueled terror, visitors can explore the Monster Midway – the hub of SCREAM-A-GEDDON comprised of petrifying monsters, an assortment of craft beer and wine, a wide selection of hot and cold beverages, a variety of delicious fresh food, a fully stocked gift shop, midway games, and custom SCREAM-A-GEDDON photo spots.

SCREAM-A-GEDDON will be open to the public on select nights from Friday, September 8 through Saturday, November 4. Tickets start at $24.95 and vary by date.
