The Florida State Fair is one of the most popular events in the entire Sunshine State. It’s hugely popular with Tampa area residents eager to hop on some thrill rides, eat the creative fried and sweet treats from vendors, and enjoy ample live performances. An event with this kind of personality has of course gained a loyal following even outside the state. According to a new study from JeffBet, The Florida State Fair is the 5th most popular state fair on TikTok.
We’re not all too familiar with JeffBet itself; however, the numbers don’t lie and our local fair seems to have captivated TikTok users and late-night doom scrollers across the country. Also, we’re just happy to celebrate one of our favorite happenings in the area even if it is still 6 months away.

In total, the Florida State Fair received 52,229,000 views on TikTok. I may have contributed to one million of those views courtesy of the Tampa Cuban Funnel Cake Sandwich and Mexican Street Corn Ice Cream Sundae.
Florida State Fair is less popular on Instagram, with over 40,848 posts, ranking twelfth. The hashtag ‘#floridastatefair’ features the most, is used in over 34,279 Instagram posts, and has 44 million TikTok views.
The fair officially returns February 8-19, 2024. Announcements for new food to try, rides to experience, and visiting performers will be revealed on the Florida State Fair’s website.
