Welcoming low cost airline Porter to Tampa International Airport
“We’re excited to welcome Porter Airlines to Tampa International Airport with this new nonstop route to Toronto, as part of Porter’s jet service launch to the United States,” Airport CEO Joe Lopano said. “Canadians love the Tampa Bay region and everything it has to offer, and we know this will be a popular new option for both business and leisure travelers.”
This will be the first time Toronto-based Porter will fly to TPA since the airline launched in 2006. Porter’s goal is to offer superior hospitality and elevated onboard service for its travelers.
“Canadians are used to flying to Florida, but not like this,” said Kevin Jackson, Porter’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. “Porter’s onboard service for economy passengers is unmatched by any other carrier in North America. We believe that time onboard our planes is just as important a part of a trip as the destination.”
You can book your flights today on Porter’s website.
TPA will also launch nonstop flights to Toronto with Lynx Air later this year.
