Only in Florida will you find pizza boat delivery. OK you might find it in other places too, but not with that quintessential Florida flair. Madison Avenue Pizza is known for its 32″ pizza challenge, and for its larger than life slices. I swear you could kite surf with one of those cheesy triangles, or parasail with one of the pies. The beaches in the Tampa Bay region are teaming with boaters, some of whom might want to enjoy a meal without having to dock anywhere, and that’s where the Madison Avenue Pizza Skiff comes in. The Tampa Bay region’s own pizza boat delivery service.
This pizza delivery concept was first announced back in March 2022, and since its inception has delighted boaters on the Bay. Madison Avenue owner Sean Ferraro is delivering these aquatic pies himself, and he’s making major waves out by Indian Shores. They also recently took to social media to promote their island party delivery service:
“NEED CATERING FOR YOUR NEXT ISLAND PARTY? Arriving early to the prime location on the island and going to be stuck there all day? The PIZZA SKIFF from Madison Avenue Pizza in Dunedin is here to help! We can deliver pizza wings, tenders, salads or anything else on our menu to your beachside location! Beer, wine, seltzers, mixed drinks (including our scratch made margarita crowlers!) and soda can also be included with a food catering order. Our delivery range is typically from Anclote to Indian Rocks Beach, but other areas are available on request, including land based locations with a dock. We have heated delivery bags to make sure your food is fresh when you get it! Give us a call at 727-754-6144 or shoot us a message to set up an order. (Delivery minimums apply)”
You can also send them a DM on Instagram to get their location and schedule.
If you can’t wait for a beach day to try Madison Avenue Pizza, just list their brick-and-mortar at 2660 Bayshore Boulevard in Dunedin.
“Madison Avenue Pizza is a culmination of all of the things that I have experienced growing up in an Italian family and working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years,” writes Ferraro. “We cook things the old fashioned way, using only the freshest ingredients possible and making everything we can from scratch in our kitchen.”
