Get the milk ready because Nashville hot chicken is coming to Seminole Heights. King of the Coop is set to light up 6607 North Florida Avenue with flaming hot eats. The restaurant should be open as soon as next week.
The owners recently posted the menu for their social audiences and it’s a tapestry of fiery delights.

If you can handle the heat, come to Seminole Heights
King of the Coops heat meter starts at Naked (no heat, no spice) to Take the Throne, a heat level that may unleash the waterworks.
Entrees include jumbo breaded chicken tenders or leg quarters. Diners also have the option to sub in a quarter pound of cat fish. Each is served with crispy fries, king sauce, potato bread and sweet heat pickles.
