Metro Diner to Open First Location in Tampa

Metro Diner, which opened its first Tampa Bay location in St. Petersburg, Florida is finally opening a new location in South Tampa. The diner known for creating its American comfort food from scratch will open at 4011 West Kennedy Blvd on May 29th.

The diner first opened in 1938 and was revived in 1992 in Jacksonville, FL. Since then, Metro Diner has become a local favorite and was once featured in Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on the Food Network channel.

The diner is also known for serving breakfast and lunch meals under $15. Make sure you don’t miss out on the fried chicken and waffles, a signature dish of the establishment.
