Halloween, in theory, is supposed to be terrifying. Ancient pagan ritual, wailing spirits, the eternal darkness of the underworld. The whole thing. But at some point, someone looked at all of that and concluded that what Halloween was truly missing was plastic bricks. And honestly? They weren’t wrong.
LEGOLAND Florida Resort just announced the debut of Brick or Treat Street, a brand-new addition to its fan-favorite Brick or Treat event. It runs on select dates from September 5 through October 31 at the Winter Haven park, just 45 minutes from Tampa. The whole thing transforms LEGOLAND into “Mischief Town,” which sounds like a place a kindergartner would invent to describe their classroom, and we mean that as the highest possible compliment.

The centerpiece of this year’s expansion is Brick or Treat Street, six life-sized LEGO Monster homes that families walk through and actually interact with. Not just look at. Interact with. There’s a Wacky Witch’s Cottage where kids hunt for runaway frogs, a Wolf Guy’s Cabin where you witness his full-moon transformation up close, and a Scarecrow’s Barn where you earn a LEGO brick for scaring away a cheeky bird. That’s peak Halloween, folks. No blood, no existential dread, just a scarecrow who really needs your help with a pigeon situation.

Brick or Treat Street isn’t the whole show. There’s also the Potion Mischief Light Trail, a glowing nighttime stroll with colorful projections and interactive potion-making moments, plus the Great Monster Chase 4D Movie, live entertainment, Monster Meet & Greets, and hands-on LEGO building activities. And capping everything off on select Saturday evenings, the Monster Skytacular drone show sends hundreds of illuminated drones into the night sky in a synchronized Halloween spectacle that, frankly, sounds more impressive than anything most adults manage to do on Oct. 31.
And here’s the thing: it’s all included with general admission and annual passes. No sneaky upcharges. Just a park full of monsters that won’t scare your kids, and a drone show that absolutely will dazzle them.
Families can also extend the fun with an overnight stay at the LEGOLAND Hotel, Pirate Island Hotel, or LEGOLAND Beach Retreat, where the Halloween theme follows you all the way to breakfast.
