The largest dessert festival in America arrives in Tampa this June

Dessert Wars, the largest traveling dessert festival in America, returns to Tampa at the Florida State Fairgrounds (4800 US-301) on June 1 from 3pm-7pm. Tickets are on sale now, and you’ll want to secure yours quickly as they sell out every single year. It’s one of the top food festivals in Tampa each year. 

This enchanting celebration of all things sweet consists of the top local bakers and bakeries in the Tampa Bay region. Spots from South Florida and Central Florida also tend to make appearances at the event. Dessert Wars is a celebration of the “foodie” lifestyle, featuring over 50+ dessert vendors vying for the title of Dessert Champion. The event features a wide array of desserts ranging from cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, and doughnuts. 

VIP tickets include 50 sample tickets, a “go-box” and entry beginning at 3pm. General admission tickets include 30 sample tickets, a “go-box” and entry beginning at 4pm.

Standout Tampa gems that have found success at the event include the fabulous Synergy Sweets, Meli Greek Donuts, and The Cake Girl.
