It’s been a tough time for those in the service industry in the state of Florida, and across the globe. On March 20, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis released a new executive order that orders all restaurants in Florida to suspend onsite food and alcohol consumption.

The restaurants can still offer take-out and delivery.

It does however lift the ban on delivery/take-out sales of alcohol for food establishments. The customer does have to supply valid ID when purchasing/accepting delivery.

Gyms will also be affected by the order. All gyms and fitness centers that are still open must now close.

Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is tasked with enforcing the limitations statewide.

It also asks vendors to make and keep records of all events canceled in response to COVID-19 in order to make a claim for a small business loan.
