Hyde Park Village has had a banner year for adding high-profile retail, and two more international stars are on the way. The neighborhood today announced that Italian luxury fashion house Brunello Cucinelli and the globally renowned French jewelry and luxury goods company Cartier are both planning storefronts in Hyde Park Village.
Brunello Cucinelli is set for a 2027 opening, while Cartier anticipates a late 2027 or early 2028 debut. This sets the stage for another big year of openings in Hyde Park Village, after the open-air destination had a huge 2027, welcoming in major brands such as Ralph Lauren, Paige, and LoveShackFancy, among others.

All of this follows the news that beloved Tampa favorites Downtown Dogs, On Swann and Buddy Brew have all renewed their leases and strengthened their roots at Hyde Park Village. The central hub of the historic neighborhood just keeps getting better.
For those less familiar, Cartier and Brunello Cucinelli are both major international luxury brands. Adding them to Hyde Park Village is a big get for Tampa and another elevation for the neighborhood, adding major shopping destinations to the bustling retail core.
Brunello Cucinelli was founded in 1978 in Solomeo, Italy, by Brunello Cucinelli. The brand is globally celebrated for its timeless craftsmanship, understated elegance, and commitment to “humanistic capitalism — a philosophy centered on quality, artistry and respect for people and place.”
A reference in the world of luxury, Cartier, whose name is synonymous with open mindedness and curiosity, stands out with its creations and reveals beauty wherever it may be found. Jewelry, watchmaking, fragrances, leather goods, objects, and accessories: “Cartier’s creations symbolize the convergence between exceptional craftsmanship and a timeless signature.”
