A staple of the country’s West Coast is making its debut on Florida’s west coast this week. Better Buzz Coffee opens to the public on Thursday, October 29, at 1402 W Brandon Blvd. in Brandon.
The San Diego-based small-batch coffee roasters have become a favorite in California, and the company says Florida is already one of its biggest markets for its online shop. Now, the Tampa Bay Area is getting a taste of the full array of Better Buzz drinks, with the debut of the cafe and drive-thru.

While the company hangs its hat on its small-batch beans, it’s the flavored drinks that have helped launched it to stardom. In particular, their “Best Drink Ever” has a borderline cult following, an Americano with their “signature” creamy vanilla.
More drink options include their Strawberry Rose Refresher and Burstin’ Blue Raspberry Buzz Energy, as well as coffee-based drinks like the Banana Matcha Latte, Horchata Iced Latte, Hazelnut Divinity, Vanilla Bean Latte, and Cinnamon Cream Cold Brew. Breakfast and lunch choices include the Better Breakfast Sandwich and a selection of fresh baked goods.
Better Buzz, a CCOF-certified organic coffee roaster, sources Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance coffees, with the promise to bring “the same commitment to freshness and quality to every cup served in Florida.”

Better Buzz will be open daily from 4:30 am – 10 pm beginning this Thursday. The first 200 guests on Thursday will receive a limited-edition Brandon Better Buzz hat, and all guests visiting on October 29 will receive a reusable Better Buzz cup, while supplies last.
