Another day, another major nonstop route was announced for Tampa International Airport (TPA). In May, airport officials revealed nonstop service from Tampa to Amsterdam will resume on October 26 aboard Delta Airlines. Flights will operate 7 days a week through October 2025.

“We’re grateful to Delta for creating a prime European connection through this nonstop service to Amsterdam, which we know will be popular with both Tampa Bay area residents and European travelers looking to experience our sunshine, beaches, and other attractions this winter,” said Airport CEO Joe Lopano. “We’re looking forward to supporting the route and continuing a strong partnership with Delta, which always provides a world-class experience for our passengers.”

Amsterdam remains a key destination for TPA as the airport strengthens its trans-Atlantic service. Collaborating with local visitors bureaus, economic development organizations, and business partners, TPA aims to grow its international offerings and enhance connectivity, wrote representatives in a press release.

Other exciting developments at TPA include expanded nonstop services to destinations like San Juan, Zurich, Panama City, and Mexico City, further solidifying the airport’s status as a gateway for global travel.

For a smooth experience, use the express lanes for arrivals and departures if you’re not checking bags. Arriving early is always a good idea—not only to beat the lines but also to explore the airport’s impressive pre-security art installations.
