Music lovers rejoice! Ybor City is about to get a brand new music venue and cafe all in one. 1920 Ybor City (1920 E 7th Avenue) is a dreamy music venue that debuted on April 20. The open air music destination is a proverbial forest with lush greenery and stunning murals lining the brick walls.
Previously known as Frankie’s Patio, this new spot served as the official music venue for the Gasparilla Music Festival Pre-Fest Kick Off Party. Galatic’s extraordinary performance showcased just how versatile and powerful 1920’s stage is.

This 13,742 sq ft space is also going to be home to The Attic Café, one of downtown Tampa’s most popular coffee bars and restaurants. Guests can enjoy quintessential Tampa eats while enjoying great tunes. And for those of you who love art, you’ll be happy to know that 1920 will also showcase some amazing local artwork, with pieces from the Kress Collective.
“We wanted to create a space where people can come together to enjoy great music, delicious food, local art, and a fun atmosphere,” said the owner of 1920 Ybor City. Mission accomplished.
