It’s beginning to look a lot like Florida fall/winter. By that we mean the temperature dipped below 70 a couple of times. If you can believe it we are only 4 weeks out from the first tree lighting ceremony in Tampa Bay. Historic Ybor City’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony is set for November 15 from 6pm-8pm.
Typically, Mayor Jane Castor will start the lighting countdown as the city officially kicks off the holiday season in Ybor City. On occasion, Ybor City has been known to crank out some fake snow for the public to enjoy.
Winter Villages abound in Tampa and St. Pete this November
Tampa’s famous Winter Village and skating rink is also set to return November 17-January 1 with an array of local vendors, a huge skating rink, and glorious lights. Follow Winter Village on its website and Facebook page for updates.
On the other side of the bridge, the hotly anticipated Enchant Christmas returns from November 24-December 31. Slots to visit fill up fast, and those interested in tickets can learn more on Enchant’s website.
