Waterfront paddle board rental company opening soon at Armature Works

Love to paddle board? Soon you’ll be able to do it straight from Armature Works in Tampa Heights. The company just posted construction update photos this week and already they’ve put visions of sunrise trips on the water.

Armature Works has already stepped up its game with a brand new Saturday Morning Market, a new stand alone restaurant, and Union by Commune & Co. added a mini cereal bar to its menu.

The addition of a kayak and paddle board rental concept just deepens its versatile roster. Plus, it gives us the chance to earn our hearty brunch cravings with a little workout.

Stones Throw foodie spot set to open on the waterfront

What sets this Urban Kai location from its others in Tampa Bay is the addition of Stones Throw. The company also hosts special paddling events like yoga on the water and Tampa Bay adventure tours.

Paddle board rates run from $35 per hour to $75 for a full day. Fishing SUP outings run $65 for 3 hours to $135 for the full day.

An opening date is still TBD. Follow Urban Kai on Facebook for updates. In the meantime, you can visit them at 13090 Gandy Boulevard North.
