Deep-fried Strawberry Cheese Bursts. Strawberry Doughnut Burgers. Strawberry Spaghetti. A surf and turf sundae.
Yes, we understand. Of course, these words have set off an involuntary, multi-syllabic holler. STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL BABY!

Dig into strawberry spaghetti at the Strawberry Festival
There are some humdingers that will always be mainstays for Strawberry Festival-goers like the Funnel Bacon Stick, which is a strip of smoky bacon dipped in funnel cake batter slathered in caramel. Of course, don’t forget Strawberry Spaghetti from Spaghetti Eddie’s, which takes your typical plate of spaghetti but coats it in strawberry sauce.

The new additions to the Fest are noteworthy
The Florida Strawberry Festival has always been a place to let your hair down and try some gnarly, weird food. This year’s additions to the festival do not disappoint. There is the newly appointed gut buster daddy, the Strawberry Jam Meatball Sandwich that is loaded with…well, strawberry jam and juicy meatballs.
Mama Jane Harris, a Festival culinary legend, will be offering Loaded Fried Potato Funnel Cake, a funnel cake with bacon, chives and potatoes mixed into the batter drizzled with hot cheddar cheese – have mercy, Mama Jane.
In fact, one of the new additions this year has even attracted the Food Network’s show, Carnival Eats.

This popular show will peruse the grounds along in search of strawberry delights of all kids, but they have already tipped their hand that they fancy something called the Surf and Turf Sundae. This steakhouse sundae comes courtesy of DeAnna’s Food Concessions and will feature fries, cheese sauce, bacon and sour cream topped with the friendly duo of steak and shrimp.
Get out there, folks! The Festival runs from February 28th to March 10th from 10am to 10pm. Adults (+13) are $10, Children (6-12) are $5 and Children under 5 are free with an adult’s paid admission. Click here for full details.
